What happens when passionate, talented vendors come together to collaborate on a styled shoot (besides a ton of fun)…some really great, inspiring eye candy! Working in the creative field, it’s always important to remind myself to take on personal projects where I can be creative w/out the expectations or pressures of delivering a product to a client. It allows me to take risks and develop new techniques that I would’t dare experiment with on any of my clients’ time.
Whenever I work with, Melissa from Plum Couture, I can count on nothing but excellence in her execution and stylizing whatever is before us. Melissa is not only passionate about her love of styling, but she’s down to earth and always willing to go the extra effort for her clients.
Those beautiful flowers that you’ll see in my posting below were created by Aimee Lomeli of Aimee Lomeli Designs. I am not lying or fluffing up reality when I say that I have never seen an arrangement from Aimee that doesn’t look incredible. Her eye for color and composition of florals is unmatched, and I was so excited to be able to work with her again.
Britteny from Makeup by Brittney Lee was on had to do our models’ makeup (thank you, Kate and Matt!). Britteny does an excellent job, and I’d recommend her highly to anyone.
And, of course, last but not least, what’s an equestrian engagement shoot w/out horses and an arena? KMC, thank you for being so great about us using your facilities. You have beautiful grounds there and you were so gracious in the giving of your time and access to your venue. I hope everyone enjoys!
Holy heavens!
How exquisite!!!!!
