I couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon in San Francisco the day of my engagement session with Kat and Chris = Gorgeous weather, stylish-and-fun couple, and to top it all off, the Giants won in the bottom of the 10th.  The Ferry Building was still buzzing a bit with happy orange & black fans when we arrived in the late afternoon.

We definitely covered some ground beginning at Rouge & Blanc, hitting Nob Hill and the Embarcadero, with many stops in between. There are many things that go into a great engagement session that results in fabulous images.  Many of these things are in the photographer’s control (creativity, lighting, posing, et cetera), but one of the most-essential and must-haves is a couple willing to have fun, block out the world of people-watchers, unabashedly love on each other and embrace the camera. Kat and Chris definitely are a dream couple to work with in this regard.  I’m looking forward to covering their wedding at the Olypmic Club this summer.
