It was Rocio and Robert’s first trip to Sonoma County when I met them for their engagement shoot. We had already had to reschedule once due to the winter rain, so I was relieved when the rain gave us a break that stormy weekend. I have to say, it made for some great reflection shots in the freshly-made puddles. One thing I love about being a Napa Valley wedding photographer is the fact that there are so many options when it comes to choosing a venue to shoot at. I have my favorites, and Buena Vista Winery is one of them. The minute I stepped foot on their property, I fell in love. There is so much character and life at this beautiful winery. If you’re looking for wedding venues, I would certainly start by looking here. It’s quaint, private and so incredibly beautiful. Just a stone’s throw away is Bartholomew Park, which is another gorgeous park property. We were lucky enough that the sun graced us with its presence minutes before we ended our shoot at Bartholomew Park Winery. Etsy is the one-stop shopping place for wedding props, but Rocio handmade her Amor banner ~ It’s so adorable!
